JOB TITLE.

nCino Administrator

POSITION REPORTS TO.

VP, Technology Manager

OBJECTIVE.

The nCino Administrator is responsible for administration, implementations, and support for the nCino platform. They will serve as the “go to” for users, promote adoption, keep current on new releases and AppExchange solutions, provide training, and more. They will ensure that the organization is maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of nCino based on business needs. They will work with vendors and collaborate with business units to implement new and updated features, develop, train, and communicate changes to Bank Staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.

Systems Management

  • Participates in the integration process with other enterprise systems or other applications as the opportunities arise.
  • Coordinates business requests, platform changes, workflows, and enhancements.
  • Identifies opportunities to automate and optimize the nCino technology stack.
  • Reviewing critical products specification changes and making non-critical changes.
  • Analyzes the system requirements with the user needs, makes recommendations for system changes to the Vice President, Technology Manager.
  • Maintains competency in products systems and stays abreast of new releases and system enhancements.
  • Audits, uncovers, and resolves data integrity issues.
  • Performs intermittent application testing of new nCino releases and internal organizational changes.
  • Participates in future conversions and configurations planned for the Bank as part of our roadmap.
  • Creates, updates, and manages nCino and Salesforce Support Cases via their respective communities.
  • Monitors daily integration jobs, corrects any issues that arise, and notifies the nCino user group of the issue once it has been resolved.
  • Performs proper change management between environments

Application Management

  • Application Project Management – Carries out projects related to application implementation, upgrades, and changes. (new/upgrades product, growth acquisition strategies, business tools, etc.)
  • Reviews and documents product bulletins and roadmaps

System Maintenance, Security and Integrity

  • Maintains nCino hierarchy territories, accounts, contacts, and opportunities in response to personnel changes
  • Maintains system security to share rules, grants/removes licenses and creates user roles, profiles, and hierarchies
  • Creates, monitors, and maintains backup jobs through AutoRABIT.
  • Facilitates disaster recovery scenarios; establishes testing plans and disaster recovery policy and procedures for nCino and ancillary products.

Support & Training

  • Provides support to the nCino user base around day-to-day activities including configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of the platform.
  • Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves end user problems in an effective, timely, and courteous manner.
  • Develops training plans, materials, and documentation for application users, keeps materials up to date, and coordinate new user and ongoing training sessions for new employees. Assists in communicating change management for the system.
  • Communicates upgrades, outages, releases and timelines to the Bank and its managers in a timely manner. Uses clear concise language to support the decision-making responsibilities of management.
  • Provides backup to the Helpdesk for troubleshooting tier-one tickets.
  • Delivers PCX the Platinum Client Experience

Reports and Dashboard Writer

  • Creates and modifies reports.
  • Establishes and maintains dashboards.

Knowledge Enhancement

  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of the nCino platform, acting as the subject matter expert to ensure that the bank and customer needs are identified and met by making appropriate recommendations
  • Maintains and shares best practices, procedures, agreements, and forms
  • Stays informed of new developments in nCino and any existing or emerging risks
  • Attends applicable vendor conferences, user group meetings, and participates in periodic calls
  • Develops understanding of how the platform interfaces with the Bank’s host system and third-party applications
  • Maintains a working knowledge of loan compliance and ensures that our systems are in compliance with all loan regulations.

Relationships and Contacts

  • Collaborates with the Salesforce/nCino Administrators
  • Interacts with Executive Management, Group Leaders and Department Managers as needed
  • Works with third parties: Salesforce, nCino, AutoRABIT and Consultants

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains historical records by documenting application parameter changes and revisions

  • Assists in the preparation for examinations and audits
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business or technical discipline (i.e., Computer Science and Information Services) preferred
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 3 – 5+ years of experience with nCino platform strongly preferred.
  • Salesforce Admin and Einstein Analytics certification preferred.
  • Treasury Management and DAO module experience preferred.
  • Banking, credit, loan operations experience preferred.

Knowledge / Skills

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills (internal/external – customers, vendors, employees)
  • Technical aptitude with nCino and its third-party applications
  • Vendor Relationship Management
  • Highly self-motivated and directed

  • Strong reporting background using standard reporting tools including standard nCino reporting functionality
  • Must be a self-starter with an analytical mindset. Must be detail oriented with complex problem-solving abilities
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong willingness for continuous learning and growth
  • Ability to handle and prioritize a high level of administrative pressure
  • Availability for occasional work outside normal business hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong Windows-based PC and MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Work Environment

  • The working environment is typical for an office and does not require exposure to difficult or hazardous conditions.
