Lead Client Services Banker-Consumer Lending


Vice President / Client Services Manager


The Lead Client Services Banker-Consumer Lending is the point of contact for existing and new clients to Platinum Bank for consumer lending.  This position will be responsible for maintaining a positive, high touch, hospitable client experience while exemplifying Platinum Bank’s Client Service Standards, to ensure every client or guest receives unparalleled service, exceeding their expectations.  In addition this position will be responsible for the day to day banking needs of our clients to include originating consumer loans, opening and retaining deposit and loan relationships, assisting in problem resolutions, processing transactions, managing a cash drawer and providing customer service for Platinum Bank’s clients.


  1. Subject matter expert for consumer lending
  2. Ownership over creating/maintaining policies & procedures for consumer lending.
  3. Manages consumer lending daily workflow.
  4. Responsible for training consumer lending staff and provides input to the Client Services Manager on performance of the consumer lending staff.
  5. Responsible for performing consumer lending functions to include handling consumer loan inquiries, origination, underwriting, disclosures, document preparation, communication to clients and closings of real estate and non-real estate loan products.
  6. Provides Client Services Support to include greeting customers, answering phones/emails while portraying the service culture of Platinum Bank.
  1. Performs deposit account/services to include opening of new accounts, performing account maintenance, troubleshooting service requests, assist clients with account questions, prepare documents and perform system set up for deposits, retail online banking, and related products and services.
  1. Provides new account support for the Business Banking Associate(s) when needed.
  2. Process client transactions.
  3. Manage cash drawer, assist with cash shipments and auditing and balancing function of cash operations for the bank.
  1. Collaborate with third party service providers and internal support staff to efficiently aid in onboarding the client.


  • Monitor the lobby traffic to manage client service standards and minimize client wait time.
  • Maintain lobby area refreshments
    1. Ensuring adequate supplies are stocked
    2. Clean and maintain the coffee and draft stations and counters and tables on an ongoing basis
  • Maintain the lobby area of the Bank making sure it creates a welcoming environment

Other Responsibilities

  • Assist departments throughout the bank location with special projects and functions.
  • Comply with Federal and State Regulatory Compliance Statutes and bank policies and procedures applicable to the functions being performed.
  • Assist in the preparation for examinations and audits
  • Performs other responsibilities as assigned to include various clerical & data entry duties and bank events.


  • High School degree or GED Required.
  • Preferred 4-year college degree or (5+) years related banking experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Required 5 years of Consumer Lending experience to include underwriting, title work, & loan documentation knowledge
  • Required NMLS Certification
