David W. Rom
Chief Executive Officer, President and Director
Mr. Rom has more than 15 years of banking experience. From 2003 to 2005, Mr. Rom was Chief Financial Officer of First National Financial Services located in Elk River, Minnesota. Mr. Rom managed all financial and operational aspects of the company and subsidiary Bank. From 1999 through 2003, Mr. Rom was Senior Manager of Bank Advisory Services for Deloitte and Touche LLP in Minneapolis. Prior to that, Mr. Rom held positions as Vice President for Risk Management for MidAmerica Bancshares, a multi-bank holding company based in St. Paul, Minnesota as well as held audit positions for regional public accounting firms based in Kansas City, Missouri and Denver, Colorado. Mr. Rom has significant experience in bank finance, loan portfolio management, operations, mergers and acquisitions and regulatory affairs. Mr. Rom has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Saint Johns University in Collegeville, Minnesota.
Mark H. Luhmann
Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer and Director
Mr. Luhmann has over 25 years of commercial banking experience. Mr. Luhmann started his career with First Bank System in 1981. He was a Vice President of commercial lending for Riverside Bank from 1990 to 1995. Until March 2006, Mr. Luhmann worked with Western Bank as the Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer since 1997. He managed all of the Bank's credit functions, supervised all lending personnel and implemented the bank's strategic plan. Mr. Luhmann managed an active commercial loan portfolio while also leading business development efforts. Mr. Luhmann has served with numerous civic organizations. He currently is a member of the SPECO Certified Development Company and the Minneapolis Consortium of Community Developers.
Marc L. Cove
Senior Vice President and Commercial Banking Officer
For the eight-year period ending in March 2006, Mr. Cove served as Vice President with Western Bank, St. Paul , Minnesota. His responsibilities included commercial lending in the greater Twin Cities as well as oversight of Western Bank's loan administration area. Mr. Cove graduated in 1992 from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. In 2003, Mr. Cove was elected to the North St. Paul, Maplewood, Oakdale School Board (ISD #622). He remains on that board today and is in the third year of his four-year term. Previously, Mr. Cove held the position of President of the Oakdale Business and Professional Association. He remains a director of the OBPA today. Mr. Cove has also served as chair for the Washington County Workforce Investment Board and as Chair of the Oakdale Economic Develoment Commission. Additionally, Mr. Cove today serves as a director for Co-Action Academic Resources and as a director of the 622 Communities Partnership.
Tony Cavallaro
Senior Vice President and Commercial Banking Officer
For the past six years Mr. Cavallaro was the Vice President of Business Development with Anchor Bank Heritage NA. His responsibilities centered on new business clients and prospects. He worked on the attainment and retention of a portfolio of over $30 million with over 200 clients. Through his years in community banking experience Mr. Cavallaro has attained ABA certification for commercial lending. Previous to the banking industry Mr. Cavallaro worked as a general manager for Lake Elmo Chrysler Dodge from the years of 1986-2001. He stays active through his memberships with the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale Rotary Club, as past president. In addition, he currently serves as the president of the District 622 Education Foundation and the Ramsey County Nursing Home Foundation. Mr. Cavallaro is also a member and director for the North St. Paul Business Association.
Kimberly K. Duitsman
Senior Vice President and Operations Officer
From 1980 to 1991, Ms. Duitsman worked for First Bank Systems. From 1991 until 2002, Ms. Duitsman worked for Riverside Bank, Minneapolis, Minnesota and its successor, Associated Bank, first as an Account Executive, then in Deposit Operations and eventually, for Associated Bank as Delivery Support Manager for the Minnesota region. In 2002, Ms. Duitsman joined EastBank as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, where her specific responsibilities included: managing the deposit operations and staff of the bank; preparing the bank's financial statements and required regulatory reports; serving as Compliance Officer and serving as BSA/Anti Money Laundering Officer.
